I learned techniques that I didn't know existed. Being a one-man shop, it is a great benefit to know that there is someone I can always call for advice. Your supplier list is an excellent resource. J.R. Detroit, MI
Your workshop on leather was outstanding. The "tricks of the trade" that you shared were very much appreciated and filled fives pages of notes. I felt privileged to observe the details you bring to your craft. This was definitely a positive learning experience for me.

Thanks for the info on the foot. The workshop was worth every penny! For me, even though I've been in the business for over 23 years, I learned more new techniques, tricks of the trade, additional tool usage, supplier availability and supplies than I could have imagined in the four days of the workshop! Thanks for everything.. - H.T., BelAir, MD
Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how much I enjoyed your Advanced Leather Course, that I attended back in April. You clearly went over some very important techniques that I was eager to get back to my shop and work on. That, coupled with your supplier list will move my skill level up the ladder quite a few notches. Thank you again for all the good advice. M.M., Lewisberry, PA
I have been sewing for about 16 years now working mostly with vinyl and fabrics, and had just completed an advanced leather workshop at CoachTrim LLC in Danbury, CT. One word...WOOOOOW!!
For any of you that want to tweak their skills to the highest level, I urge you to check this class out. You will leave on the third day with no questions left unanswered about leather. The Instructor Johann Merkhofer, a leather craftsman from Austria, gives you individual attention specifically to your needs. I think I am spoiled and may never go back to vinyl. This workshop will definitely help my next career move into aviation upholstery. Gale Hansen, Valley City, N.D.
Testimonials
from attendees at Coachtrim Workshops
For all the folks out there looking for training, classes, books, videos etc. on upholstery instruction, I have one name for you, Coachtrim! I recently participated in one of their monthly 3 day
"Advanced Leather Workshops" and it was worth every single 1300 miles that I traveled to get
there and back. I am a rookie with very limited experience and I believe I can say that I have
received the best training available from this workshop. Johann and his staff are true craftsman and do the finest leather work I have ever seen. In the shop during my visit was an older Mercedes, a Rolls Royce, a 1948 Delahaye, and a 1974 Ferrari Dino all receiving complete new interiors.
If you have limited experience and you want to learn from the best, or if you are a seasoned
professional and you want to take your skills to the next level, don't miss this course.
Its worth every penny! Bryan Owens, Bristol, VA
First off I would like to thank you for the opportunity to take the cIass. It was awesome! I learned more in those three days from you than I did in three months of my schooling. I would take it again in a heartbeat. I wish I could have stayed longer because I knew I could learn so much more! I would definitely recommend this course to everyone and anyone. To sum it up, the class and everyone there was AWESOME! TREMENDOUS! AMAZING!

I wanted to thank you and your staff for a fantastic experience on Saturday. I was highly impressed by the training, your facility, and the quality of your work. The Sewing Machine Basics course exceeded my expectations, and you proved to be a great instructor. I hope to later in the year take at least one more of the courses you offer. Thanks again.
